We’re looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our Larder section at Ottolenghi Spitalfields. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a love of fresh, vibrant food and an eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, creative kitchen.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support your section and the wider team in preparing beautiful, seasonal dishes that reflect the Ottolenghi style, generous, colourful, and full of flavour. Your days will include:

  • Preparing and presenting cold dishes, salads, and garnishes to a consistently high standard
  • Assisting the Chef de Partie in the smooth running of the larder section
  • Maintaining quality, freshness, and presentation across all dishes
  • Keeping your station clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service
  • Working closely with the team to ensure great communication and seamless service

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring a mix of skill, curiosity, and teamwork. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a quality kitchen environment
  • A genuine interest in ingredients, flavours, and presentation
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in your work
  • Commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
