Our newest venue in Richmond is now open, and we are looking for an Shift Manager / Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a brand-new operation, ensuring the smooth running of both front- and back-of-house.
This role is a mix of office work and hands-on shifts on the floor and in the shop, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment. You’ll handle key administrative tasks—such as daily cash-ups, banking, menu updates, and managing online ordering—while also working on the floor as a waiter and shop assistant when needed.
As Shift Manager / Administrator, You Will:
- Support the General Manager and team with daily admin, including cash-ups, banking, and invoicing
- Oversee online ordering systems, event coordination, and catering logistics
- Develop and maintain agent, corporate, event organiser, and third-party databases
- Build sales & events leads
- Work with the catering and marketing department to drive pro-active sales opportunities and develop and maintain key relationships with local businesses, residents etc
- Assist with menus, ensuring updates and accuracy
- Work shifts on the floor as a waiter and in the shop as a shop assistant to help maintain smooth service and guest experience
- Ensure all back-office functions run efficiently while remaining actively engaged in front-of-house operations
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous office administrative experience in a restaurant or deli environment
- Experience working within a hospitality setting as a shift manager
- Be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Be comfortable using office systems and software
- Enjoy a varied role that includes guest-facing service
- Be proactive, adaptable, and able to switch between administrative and hands-on tasks
- Foster a positive work environment and support the team in all aspects of daily operations
