As a Junior Sous Chef at Ottolenghi Hampstead, you will:
- Assist the Sous & Head Chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Contribute to menu development and creative recipe ideas
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
The ideal Junior Sous Chef will be:
- Passionate about food, with a creative approach to preparing dishes
- A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others and is confident in leading their section
- Able to manage your section with precision and attention to detail
- Experienced in a similar role, ideally in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in the kitchen
