As a Shift Manager at Ottolenghi Spitalfields, you’ll play a key role in delivering joyful guest experiences while supporting, guiding, and inspiring your team throughout each service.
The Ideal Shift Manager at Ottolenghi Spitalfields will:
- Lead front-of-house operations during service, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for both guests and team members
- Support colleagues on the floor, at the till, and with takeaway customers while maintaining a calm and professional presence
- Welcome guests and manage their journey from arrival to departure, always providing warm, thoughtful service
- Handle guest feedback with empathy and generosity, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Head Chef to uphold service and operational excellence
- Help train, support, and mentor new team members in Ottolenghi’s hospitality standards and service values
- Promote a harmonious environment by supporting coordination between kitchen, floor, and retail teams
- Stay organised, proactive, and solution-focused in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
