Waiter/Bartender

Ottolenghi Islington celebrates unrushed, seasonal flavours. This is one our original restaurants and deli’s that opened in 2004 and we are now looking for an experienced Barista to join our friendly team.

As Barista at Ottolenghi Islington, you will:

• Work a blend of shifts that will alter between waiter and bartender.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, professional approach
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace, maintaining coffee equipment to the highest standards
• Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience
• Keep up-to-date with coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu offerings
• Create a friendly, inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring they feel welcome and valued
• As a bartender, you will prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, cocktails and wine
• As a waiter, you will greet guests, take orders, and ensure food and drinks are served promptly and accurately

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Barista/bar/waiter experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, approachable way
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently anticipate guests’ needs
• A team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, focusing on evenings and weekends
