Ottolenghi Edinburgh marks an exciting new chapter for us, our first restaurant in Scotland. Opening in autumn 2026, this will be a vibrant, busy restaurant with a genuine commitment to fresh, seasonal produce and sustainability at its heart.

What you’ll do

  • Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as directed.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries correctly.
  • Empty and manage waste correctly and in line with sustainability practices.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and ready for service at all times.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor.

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • A hardworking and reliable attitude.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
