Ottolenghi is a celebrated group of restaurants and delis known for its creative, seasonal dishes and exceptional hospitality. As we prepare to open our newest venue in Richmond, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a brand-new location, support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, and play a key role in delivering the Ottolenghi experience in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A proven leader with at least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar senior role within a premium hospitality environment
- A passionate advocate for exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
- Experienced in managing a team, helping to recruit, train, and develop staff
- Financially astute, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth
- Knowledgeable about food and beverage operations, including menu planning, ordering, and stock control
- Enthusiastic about fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
- Well-organized, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all operational standards are met (including health and safety, and hygiene regulations)
