Ottolenghi is a well-established company, that has been expanding across London over 20 years.

Our Junior Bakers make products that are made to the highest quality using the best ingredients. We make a large range of pastries and sweet treats and our recipes are bright, fresh, seasonal and full of flavours.

We are offering a position in our cake section.

The main role of this position is:

  • Prepare a range of products, including fondant cake, carrot cake, brownies, almond cream, pastry cream, crumble and tarts.
  • Able to prepare high volumes ensuring consistency and high quality standards. 
  • Maintain hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines at all times
  • Constant check of stock
  • Approachable and always happy to learn new products

Key attributes:

  • Will report to Head of Bakery Production and CPU Manager
  • At least 1 year of experience in pastry
  • Availability to work 5 days/week
  • Ability to monitor quality control, time management and staff welfare
  • Clean driver’s license beneficial
  • Strong understanding of food and health safety
  • Aptitude in problem solving
