Our Hampstead venue is thriving, and we’re looking for a confident and experienced Head Waiter to join our front-of-house team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior front-of-house role in a buzzing, fast-paced environment — where your leadership will help shape exceptional dining experiences for every guest.

As a Head Waiter, you will:

Lead the front-of-house team during service, ensuring smooth, efficient operations and outstanding guest experiences
Provide warm, professional, and attentive service, setting the standard for the team
Support and train wait staff, helping them develop and consistently deliver high levels of service
Manage section allocations, table plans, and coordinate with the kitchen and management for seamless service
Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively resolve any issues
Uphold Ottolenghi’s values and contribute to a welcoming, team-focused atmosphere
Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is service-ready and well-presented

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a senior front-of-house role (Head Waiter or similar) in a fast-paced restaurant
A natural leader who leads by example and inspires those around them
Passion for food, service, and hospitality with a guest-first mindset
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Strong organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail
Confident managing busy services and responding to challenges in the moment
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
