We’re now seeking an experienced and passionate Bakery Evening Supervisor to lead our evening team and uphold the high standards that make Ottolenghi baked goods so distinctive.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key supervisory role in an established bakery team, supporting the production of a wide range of artisan products, mentoring junior bakers, and ensuring smooth, efficient evening operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A skilled baker with at least 2 years of professional experience and 1 year in a supervisory role
- Confident managing multiple bakery sections during evening shifts, while maintaining quality, pace, and safety
- Strong understanding of a wide range of baking techniques, with a sharp eye for consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
- Well-versed in food safety and hygiene standards, including labelling and allergen awareness
- Passionate about mentoring junior staff, sharing knowledge, and fostering a positive, team-focused atmosphere
- Organised and reliable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
- Physically capable of working in a busy production environment (standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs)
