Ottolenghi is a celebrated group of restaurants and delis known for its vibrant, seasonal dishes and exceptional hospitality. We are on the look-out for a talent Head Pastry Chef to join our Marylebone kitchen.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a pastry kitchen, create innovative and delicious desserts, and help establish Ottolenghi’s signature style in a brand-new location.
The ideal Head Pastry Chef will be:
- A talented pastry chef with proven experience leading a pastry section, ideally in a high-end restaurant or bakery
- Passionate about creating seasonal, beautiful, and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts that embody Ottolenghi’s ethos
- Skilled in menu development, able to create both innovative and classic pastries while maintaining quality and consistency
- Experienced in managing a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop pastry chefs
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of pastry production, including food safety, stock management, and ordering
- Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Enthusiastic about fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
- Comfortable with managing a fast-paced kitchen environment while ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency
