We’re looking for a motivated Packer Supervisor to join Ottolenghi’s Central Production Unit (CPU) and lead our bagged and jarred products packing lines.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage a small team, ensure every product is packed and labelled to the highest standard, and keep operations running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

Turn the daily production plan into a clear packing plan and lead start-of-shift briefings.
Oversee packing, labelling, and positive release checks for bagged and jarred products.
Verify label accuracy, including ingredients, allergens, weights, and batch/date codes.
Monitor quality, pace, and dispatch times, re-balancing labour when needed.
Maintain food safety, allergen controls, and accurate records.
Lead, train, and support packers, ensuring high performance and teamwork.
Check stock levels of packaging, jars, lids, and labels; keep equipment and printing stations in good order.

What we’re looking for:

Previous supervisory experience in food packing or production (preferred but not essential).
Understanding of food safety, allergens, HACCP, and traceability.
Organised, reliable, detail-oriented, and confident leading a small team.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A strong team player with effective communication skills.
Physically able to stand for long periods and handle manual tasks.

Working hours:

Full-time position with a 3-month probation period.
5 shifts per week, with flexibility required during busy festive periods (including weekends and bank holidays).
